Wake Spine – Week 7

The 7th week of construction on the Wake Spine project picked up after the Thanksgiving holiday.

Tremendous progress continues at the new medical office fitup, as designed by Gontram Architecture.  Sheetrock finishing, HVAC rough-in, and electrical work overhead continued this week.  Ceramic tile installation began in the restrooms.  Prime paint was put on the walls and door frames.

This project is due to be complete by mid January, 2018. So far, so good.

Bone & Joint Surgery Clinic – Week 6

A holiday week is always tough to get things accomplished.  Thanksgiving is not just a one day holiday, either (even though it is just one day on the calendar).  Workers (and Inspectors, especially) like to roll that into a 5-day weekend, turning one lost day into 3.

Regardless, we are plugging away at the new Bone & Joint Surgery Clinic, as designed by Gontram Architecture.  Sheetrock finishing, HVAC rough-in, and electrical work overhead continued this week.

Bone & Joint Surgery Clinic – Week 5

Week 5 was even busier than Week 4 at the Bone & Joint Surgery Clinic project in Raleigh, NC.  The tight schedule on this project is proving a challenge in this occupied building, but we are managing, so far.

Rough-in inspections were signed off so sheetrock installation has begun.  Sound batt insulation is installed between the metal stud framing.  Mechanical and electrical rough-in continues overhead.

The future 9,000-square feet tenant space will soon be home to the Bone & Joint Surgery Clinic.

Wake Spine – Week 5

Things are starting to take shape at the Wake Spine project.  Sheetrock has been installed and (mostly) finished.

Mechanical and electrical rough-in continues overhead while Plumbing rough-in finishes up underneath.

The future 4,500-square feet tenant space will soon be home to the Wake Spine Clinic.

Bone & Joint – Week 4

Week 4 has seen a flurry of activity.  A complex project with a tight schedule is keeping us hopping, but we were up to the task.

Metal stud framing, electrical and plumbing rough-ins are nearing completion.  Inspections should be signed off early next week, allowing sheetrock hanging to begin in this suite.
