“Liberty & Plenty Distillery” Coming Soon to Wilson!

A new distillery in Wilson, North Carolina is under construction and is expected to be complete Fall 2026. Liberty & Plenty Distillery will feature a large tasting bar where customers can sample award-winning selections and purchase bottles of their favorite spirits. This bar will be located adjacent to the distillery’s Barrel Room, which was also completed by Ten Penny Construction in late 2023.

Founded in March of 2020, this 100% woman-owned craft distillery was brought to life by Tina Williford. Inspiration for the foundational values of the distillery, aspiration and abundance, was drawn from the two robed women on the Great Seal of the State of North Carolina, Liberty and Plenty. All of the spirits distilled at Liberty & Plenty are handmade in small batches to ensure quality, freshness, and flavor, resulting in unique personalities in every bottle.

The distillery is teaming up with POD architecture + design and Ten Penny Construction to design and build this second location, joining its current Durham location.
