Gontram Architecture’s NCAA Basketball Pool is Back!

Get your dancing shoes ready, the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament is BACK! This is the 27th year in a row (not counting the tournament that was cancelled due to COVID)!

Entry brackets will be available after 8pm EDT, Sunday, March 15th.

Entries are due by 12:00PM EDT, Thursday, March 19th!

As many of our annual participants know, the Gontram Architecture bracket pool is free to enter and there are great prizes up for grabs as always, thanks to the Sponsors: Atlantec Engineers (now IMEG), C.E. Ham Electric, Harris Structural Design, and Ten Penny Construction. 1st place this year will receive a $500 Amazon gift card, with other prizes for the Top 7, and even a horse’s rear bobblehead for our Last Place finisher.

This year’s tournament should be a fun one with NC State, UNC, and Duke all earning spots in different regions. Duke is the favorite among the three, and possibly the favorite overall, but as we saw with NC State’s Final Four run in 2024 (another year where they were an 11-seed), it’s all about who can get hot at the right time.

Again this year, our pool host is CBS Sports. We have had several great hosts over the years, but this situation maximizes the opportunity for us to continue offering the POOL at NO COST to our participants.

Whether you’ve participated every year or this is your first time, get your picks in by Thursday at 12 PM EDT to join in on the fun. No knowledge of basketball required. Good luck!

NCAA Pool Complete!

GANCAAgif-2016Ten Penny Construction sponsors an annual NCAA Bracket Challenge with Gontram Architecture, and it is now complete!  Congratulations to all of the winners, and to the ultimate loser!

Since 1998, Gontram Architecture has hosted its NCAA Pool for the Men’s Division I tournament.  As in years past, there is NO entry fee, but lots of great prizes to be won! There’s even a nice trophy for the biggest loser.

New for 2016:  Jim Valvano’s words in his 1993 ESPY speech, “Don’t Give Up . . . Don’t Ever Give Up!”, have motivated millions of people to battle cancer and find a cure.  His dream of curing cancer is still not realized, but is closer because of his inspiration.  This year, for every Pool entry received, Gontram Architecture will donate $1 to The V Foundation for Cancer Research.  Participants also have to opportunity to give towards our “team” HERE, but it is not mandatory to play in our Pool.  We just wanted to give back to the organization founded by one of the most memorable personalities of this special Tournament.

Free NCAA Pool! #GAPool

GANCAAgifTen Penny Construction and Gontram Architecture have (again) teamed up to sponsor a FREE NCAA Pool this March.

A March Tradition, the Gontram Architecture Pool is a FREE pool, open to (almost) anyone, with great prizes for the winners (and some losers).

IT’S FREE! It doesn’t cost a penny to play! That way, we don’t have a problem with the authorities, no one gets arrested, and everyone has a great time!

As always, there are lots of great prizes!

In March, our online bracket will be available immediately after the pairings are announced on Selection Sunday. Completed brackets are due by 11:00 AM EDT, Thursday, March 19th.
